Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke to Donald Trump over the phone on Wednesday. Putin said Russia must respond to recent attacks by Ukraine. Trump said they talked about Ukraine’s drone attack on Russian planes. They also discussed other attacks from both sides. Putin told Trump he would “have to respond” to the airfield attacks. Trump shared this in a post on social media. “It was a good talk,” Trump said, “but not one that will bring peace right away.” Earlier, Moscow said military action was one option. Russia also accused the West of helping Ukraine in the attacks. @@@
