Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited to the G7 Summit in Canada later this month. This shows that relations between India and Canada are improving after some difficulties.The summit will be held from June 15 to 17. PM Modi said he looks forward to meeting Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney there.
On social media, Modi said he received a call from Carney. He added that both countries will work together with respect and new energy.
There was some doubt if Modi would be invited, but now it is clear he will attend the summit.
