AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of Opposition Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) said DMK Chief M.K. Stalin is daydreaming about winning over 200 seats in the 2026 Assembly polls.Speaking at a wedding in Arakkonam, EPS said the AIADMK-led alliance will form the next government in Tamil Nadu. He also said more parties will soon join the AIADMK front.
EPS listed several achievements of the AIADMK government (2016ā2021). He said six new districts, including Ranipet and Tirupattur, were created to help backward regions. He added that 11 medical colleges, 6 law colleges, and more engineering and agriculture colleges were started during AIADMKās rule.
EPS accused DMK of rebranding old AIADMK schemes as new ones. He also questioned the DMKās 2021 poll promises, especially the ā¹2,000 crore plan for new check dams.
He also highlighted that 3,460 government school students are now studying medicine, thanks to the 7.5% reservation policy introduced by AIADMK in 2020.
