On the first anniversary of his third term, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the NDA government has promoted women-led development in the last 11 years. He said women are shining in all areas like science, education, sports, start-ups, and the armed forces. Modi listed many welfare schemes that helped women. He said Swachh Bharat gave dignity, Jan Dhan accounts gave financial access, and Ujjwala Yojana brought clean cooking gas to homes. He added that MUDRA loans helped many women start small businesses. Also, PM Awas Yojana gave houses in the names of women, boosting their safety and pride. A post from a government platform showed that the maternal death rate dropped to 93 per lakh births in 2019–21. Also, tap water connections rose to 15.64 crore homes in 2025 from just 3.23 crore in 2019. The Ujjwala scheme alone gave over 10 crore gas connections to women. Many more such schemes have made life better for women, Modi said. @@@
