At least five people were killed and others hurt in Gaza as they went to collect aid, say Palestinian health officials and witnesses. They say Israeli forces opened fire near two aid distribution points. One of the sites is run by a group backed by Israel and the US. Four bodies were taken to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. Witnesses say people were shot near a roundabout, about one kilometre from an aid site in Rafah. The Israeli military said it fired warning shots at people who came close to its soldiers and ignored warnings to turn back. They said it happened in an area that is a combat zone at night. The situation remains tense in southern Gaza as fighting continues. @@@@
