A new wave of romance is set to hit Tamil cinema with Magenta, the debut production of Brand Blitz Entertainment. The film, a vibrant rom-com, stars Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Anjali Nair in the lead roles and is directed by Igloo fame Bharath Mohan. The shooting officially began on June 6, 2025, with a traditional pooja ceremony attended by the cast, crew, and noted industry personalities.
Magenta is described as a charming tale of spontaneous love that brings together humor, emotions, and vivid storytelling. Alongside the lead pair, the film features performances from Badava Gopi, RJ Anandhi, Bucks, and others. The music is being composed by Dharan Kumar, known for his romantic chartbusters, promising a tuneful experience to complement the filmâs colorful narrative.
The technical crew includes Ballu handling cinematography, Pavithran on editing, Prem in charge of art direction, and Sakthi Saravanan coordinating action sequences. PRO duties are managed by Suresh Chandra and Abdul Nassar. The film will be predominantly shot in Chennai, with a few key scenes planned in Kothagiri.
