Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay has taken a significant step in expanding his party’s global reach by appointing official representatives in the United States and the United Kingdom. This is part of TVK’s larger effort to engage with the Tamil community abroad and build a strong international support base ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
In an official announcement, TVK named party in-charges not only in foreign nations like the U.S., U.K., Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and UAE, but also in other Indian states such as Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Delhi.
To strengthen digital engagement, Vijay also appointed IT and social media coordinators across Tamil Nadu. Zones like Chennai, Vellore, Salem, Trichy, Coimbatore, Madurai, Cuddalore, Ramanathapuram, Thanjavur, and Tirunelveli now have dedicated IT leaders and assistants to manage online outreach.
TVK stated that these appointments are part of a broader strategy to ensure effective communication, grassroots connection, and a digital presence across regions.
With this move, Vijay’s TVK is clearly preparing for a strong entry into the 2026 political race, aiming to rally support from both local and global Tamil communities.
