London, June 19: India’s vice-captain Rishabh Pant spoke with emotion ahead of the first Test against England in Leeds, starting June 20.Pant said the team is deeply saddened by the tragic air crash in Ahmedabad on June 12. The Air India flight crash killed 241 people and shocked the whole country.
Pant promised that the team will play with full effort to bring happiness back to the people of India.
“We are with everyone who is hurting,” he said. “We want to make India smile again by doing well in the series.”
India will play five Tests against England.
