In a commendable initiative aimed at empowering underprivileged yet high-achieving students, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), in collaboration with the Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL), has announced a free residential coaching program for IIT-JEE aspirants from Tamil Nadu.According to a press note issued by CSRL, this educational programāpart of CPCLās Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activityāis designed to support economically disadvantaged students who have completed their Class 12 in the science stream with outstanding academic performance. The goal is to help these meritorious students compete for admission into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) by providing them with quality, focused coaching at no cost.
To be eligible for the free coaching, students must register and appear for an offline entrance examination. This exam is scheduled to be conducted in two phasesātoday and again on 27th June 2025. Students who clear this written test will then be called for a personal interview as part of the final selection process.
The initiative reflects a strong commitment to nurturing talent and bridging the educational gap for deserving students who may otherwise lack access to premium coaching due to financial constraints.
