Tamil actor Krishna has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days in a drug case.
Police arrested him after finding his link to buying and using cocaine. His name came up during the investigation of Prasad, an AIADMK IT wing member who was arrested earlier.
Actor Srikanth was also arrested a few days ago for the same offence. He too was linked to Prasad, who reportedly supplied the drugs.
After Krishna’s arrest, he was taken to court. The judge ordered 14 days of judicial custody. He has now been sent to Puzhal Central Prison.
The police are continuing their investigation. More people may be questioned in the coming days.
