Actor Krishna, who was recently remanded to 14 days of judicial custody in connection with the ongoing cocaine investigation, has filed a bail application before the Chennai Special Court FridaY.
Krishna was arrested following his detention by the special investigation team probing a high-profile drug network that also implicated fellow actor Srikanth. The court had ordered Krishna and supplier Kevin to be held until July 10
The investigation stems from an earlier incident—a brawl at a Nungambakkam pub on May 22—which led to raids and a deeper probe into narcotics distribution. Krishna was grilled at an undisclosed location, and the case has unearthed alleged connections between him, a former AIADMK official, and other suspects in the network.
