Director Jyothi Krishna has reworked Bobby Deol’s character in the upcoming film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, after being impressed by the actor’s powerful performance in Animal. Bobby plays Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in the Pawan Kalyan-starrer.Originally, Bobby had shot a few scenes for the film. But after watching Animal, where the actor delivered a strong, dialogue-less performance, Jyothi Krishna was inspired to rewrite and deepen the character.
“His expressions in Animal were spellbinding,” said the director. “I felt Aurangzeb’s role should match Bobby’s intensity and new-found stardom.” The revised role includes a stronger backstory, emotional arc, and intense screen presence. Bobby Deol was thrilled with the changes and is set to present a more intense and elegant version of Aurangzeb in the period drama.
