Sun Pictures’ much-anticipated film Coolie, starring Superstar Rajinikanth and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has already created a major buzz by becoming the highest overseas procurement for a Tamil film to date. The action-packed entertainer features a stellar cast including Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Aamir Khan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan.
With music by Anirudh—marking his fourth consecutive collaboration with Lokesh Kanagaraj—the film’s first single Chikitu has gone viral online.
Global distribution is being handled by Hamsini Entertainment, which plans to release Coolie in over 100 countries, marking it as one of the most expansive international releases for an Indian film. With a massive worldwide marketing campaign lined up, Coolie is set to redefine benchmarks for Indian cinema globally.
