In a bold marketing move, Yash Raj Films (YRF) has decided to keep Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR away from each other during all promotions of War 2. The film marks the duo’s first-ever on-screen face-off, and YRF wants to preserve the intensity of their rivalry until release.
According to sources, Hrithik and NTR will promote the film separately—no joint appearances, no shared interviews, and no promotional videos together. This strategy aims to heighten anticipation and deliver the full impact of their dramatic showdown when the movie hits theatres.
War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, is set to release in IMAX on August 14, 2025. It also stars Kiara Advani in a powerful new role and is being touted as one of the most awaited films of the year.
