A recent video showing infants reportedly lying on the floor at Kallakurichi Government Hospital has sparked widespread concern and condemnation from political LEADERS. The footage highlighted a critical shortage of cradles and dilapidated beds within the hospital’s facilities.In response to the viral video, Dr. Bhavani, the Principal of Kallakurichi Medical College, issued a clarification. She explained that the two women featured in the video had utilized additional mattresses near the emergency unit.
Dr. Bhavani further stated that the damaged mattress seen in the video has since been removed, and assured the public that the hospital now possesses a sufficient supply of mattresses to accommodate its patients.
