Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava to Take Oath as Chief Justice of Madras High CourtJustice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava will take oath as the new Chief Justice of the Madras High Court today.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place at 4 PM at Bharathiar Mandapam in the Raj Bhavan, Chennai. Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi will administer the oath.
Chief Minister M K Stalin, State Ministers, senior judges, and top officials are expected to attend the event.
Justice Shrivastava was earlier the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court. He replaces Justice K R Shriram, who has now moved to Rajasthan as its Chief Justice.
The Union government appointed him as Chief Justice of the Madras High Court on July 14. He will serve in the post until his retirement on March 6, 2026.
