London, July 22: India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has confirmed that Jasprit Bumrah will play the upcoming Test match in Manchester against England.There was talk that Bumrah would play only three Tests in the series. He had played the first and third Tests at Headingley and Lord’s, but missed the win at Edgbaston.
Many fans and experts, including Anil Kumble, wanted Bumrah to play this important match. Now Siraj has said that “Jassi bhai will play only, that’s what we know.”
Siraj also spoke about the team’s bowling plan. He said, “England batted with a lot of patience at Lord’s. So our main plan is to bowl in good areas.”
He added, “This is the real fun of Test cricket. Whatever England does is their call. But we will stick to our plan — to bowl well in the right spots.”
