In view of the upcoming Aadi Amavasya, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) will run special buses for devotees heading to Rameswaram.Aadi Amavasya, a day marked for ancestral worship, sees thousands of devotees visiting Rameswaram to perform spiritual rituals. To handle the expected rush, TNSTC will operate additional bus services on July 23 and 24.
Bus Schedule:
July 23: Special buses will run from Chennai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, and Bengaluru to Rameswaram.
July 24: Return buses will operate from Rameswaram to Chennai, Salem, Coimbatore, and Bengaluru.
Passengers can book tickets in advance through the official website www.tnstc.in or via the TNSTC mobile app.
Authorities have advised devotees to plan their journey early and use public transport to avoid traffic congestion and ensure a safe trip.
