PMK President Anbumani Ramadoss has announced the launch of a 100-day state-wide campaign titled “Journey to Reclaim Tamil Nadu’s Rights.” The campaign will begin on July 25, which marks the birthday of PMK founder Dr. S. Ramadoss. The campaign aims to highlight various issues affecting the people of Tamil Nadu and push for their resolution.Speaking at a press meet in Chennai, Anbumani said the campaign will focus on reclaiming 10 major rights for the people, including social justice, environmental protection, women’s safety, quality education, good healthcare, employment opportunities, solutions for agriculture, and a clean and planned urban environment. The campaign will also call for the removal of the ruling DMK government, citing poor governance.
Anbumani added that the journey will cover several districts and involve interactions with people from different communities. He said the campaign is not just political, but also aims to raise awareness about people’s issues and rights.
The PMK plans to use this initiative to connect with the public at the grassroots level ahead of the 2026 state elections.
