Kanchipuram MLA Ezhilarasan inaugurated a new air-conditioned bus service connecting Bengaluru and Tambaram on Wednesday. The service was launched by the Tamil Nadu State Road Transport Corporation (TNSTC) from the Kanchipuram bus stand.
As part of this initiative, three modern government buses have been introduced. These buses come with several passenger-friendly features including mobile charging points, surveillance cameras for enhanced safety, and loudspeakers to help drivers manage passenger drop-off alerts effectively.
The inauguration event was attended by Kanchipuram Mayor M. Mahalakshmi Yuvaraj, transport department officials, and members of the DMK party. The new service is expected to offer improved comfort and safety for travelers between the two cities.
