Quarterly, half-yearly exam timetables released

The School Education Minister, Anbil Mahesh, has announced the timetables for the Quarterly and Half-Yearly examinations for the 2025-26 academic year in Tamil Nadu. The minister also stated that the schedule for the public examinations for the same academic year will be released in October.
According to the released schedule, the Quarterly examinations for students from 1st to 12th grade will commence on September 18th and conclude on September 26th. Following these examinations, a holiday period has been declared from September 27th to September 30th.
The Half-Yearly examinations are scheduled to begin on December 15th and end on December 23rd. Students will then have a holiday from December 24th to January 1st.
Minister Anbil Mahesh shared this information on his X platform (formerly Twitter), stating that in accordance with Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s advice, the public examination schedule for 2025-2026 will be released in October, similar to last year. He also attached the pages from the School Education Department’s 2025-2026 calendar that specify the dates for the Quarterly and Half-Yearly examinations, encouraging students to prepare with happiness and confidence.
