Preparations are in full swing for the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) state-level conference to be held in Madurai on August 25.
The party, led by actor Vijay, is making extensive arrangements to accommodate lakhs of supporters and functionaries expected to attend the event.
The venue, located in Maranavalli near Perungudi, spans over 500 acres. Work is underway to level the land, set up the main stage, and make seating arrangements. Facilities such as drinking water, toilets, parking, and medical support are also being readied.
TVK officials said the upcoming event will be larger than the party’s first state conference held in Vikravandi. More than 10 lakh people are expected to participate, with the party aiming to mobilize workers from across Tamil Nadu.
District-level meetings and strategy sessions are also being held to ensure smooth coordination. The conference is seen as a crucial step for TVK ahead of the 2026 assembly elections.
