Seeman says Vijay must have an alternative plan

Naam Tamilar Katchi leader Seeman has advised actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay to create a strong alternative plan and clear political stand.
Seeman said that during the last elections, many people voted for the DMK only to stop the AIADMK from winning. He warned that the same thing could happen again if Vijay does not clearly explain his ideology and goals.
He asked what Vijay really stands for. According to Seeman, Vijay is talking about Anna Durai, but that alone is not enough to win elections. People need to know what Vijay’s policies are and what he plans to do for the state.
Seeman added that it is not enough to oppose a party or speak against one group. Vijay must present a clear vision and roadmap for Tamil Nadu. Only then can his party become a strong alternative to the DMK and AIADMK.
Seeman’s comments come as TVK prepares for the 2026 assembly elections. Vijay had launched his party earlier and announced that he will contest all 234 seats without any alliance. The party has already started membership drives and is planning a state-wide tour soon.
Analysts say Vijay’s popularity gives him a strong start, but political success will depend on clear plans and promises for the people.
