The trailer and music launch for the film “Indira” took place at a private mall, with the cast, crew, media, and a large crowd of fans in attendance. Produced by Jaffer Sadiq and Irfan Malik under the banners of JSM Movie Production and Emperor Entertainment, and directed by Sabarish Nandha, the movie is a thrilling serial-killer story starring Vasanth Ravi, Mehreen, and Sunil. The film is set for theatrical release on August 22nd.Speaking at the event, music director Ajmal said he found the project challenging from the start, but was impressed by the cast and crew’s efforts. Choreographer and actor Kalyan Master expressed his joy in playing a significant and interesting role where his character pursues the hero, a departure from the typical on-screen dynamic. Lead actress Mehreen Pirzada praised debut director Sabarish for his clear vision and called her role as “Kayal” a challenging but fulfilling experience. She also thanked her co-star Vasanth for his support, noting his natural acting talent.
Actors Sunil and Vasanth Ravi both highlighted the film’s unique and gripping storyline. Sunil, with over 100 films under his belt, said he’s never encountered a character or script quite like this and believes it will be a fresh experience for audiences.
