AIADMK general secretary and Leader of Opposition Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) has completed a 40-day statewide campaign titled Makkalai Kaappom, Thamizhagathai Meetpom.EPS said he travelled 6,728 km, covering 118 assembly constituencies in 24 districts since the campaign began on July 7. He met students, farmers, weavers, fishermen, unemployed graduates, merchants, traders, women’s self-help groups, and others.
He claimed people everywhere welcomed him warmly and expressed disappointment with the DMK government. EPS accused Chief Minister M.K. Stalin of failing to deliver on 525 election promises and deceiving the people of Tamil Nadu.
“This is a publicity stunt government. We will end it in 2026 and bring back Amma’s government,” he said, adding his slogan, “Bye Bye Stalin.”
