Senior BJP leader Nainar Nagendran has moved to quell speculation and confusion within the political alliance in Tamil Nadu, following a recent meeting between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and AIADMK’s K.A. Sengottaiyan. Speaking to reporters at the Madurai airport, Nagendran stated unequivocally that the meeting did not signify any rifts or confusion, and that the BJP has no intention of causing a split within the AIADMK.â”There is no confusion in the alliance because of this meeting,” Nagendran affirmed, although he admitted he did not have complete details about what was discussed. He characterized the encounter as a “normal meeting” and sought to downplay its political significance in the context of the ongoing alliance between the BJP and the AIADMK.
âNagendran’s comments come amid heightened political scrutiny of the AIADMK, which has been grappling with internal factions. He addressed these concerns directly, stating that there is no split within the AIADMK at present and emphasized that the BJP has no desire to see the party fractured.
