The Greater Chennai Corporation has asked all property owners to pay their property tax for the current half-year (I/2025-26) by September 30, 2025. Late payments will attract special interest under the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act.
Property tax can be paid through various channels, including GCC tax collectors, government e-service centers, the official website, RTGS/NEFT, Paytm, Namma Chennai App, credit/debit cards, UPI, cheques, QR codes at government offices, and WhatsApp at 94450 61913.
