Moscow, Sept 15: The Russian Foreign Ministry has praised India for standing firm on its friendship with Russia, even under outside pressure.In a statement to RT, the ministry said Indiaâs approach is based on âlong-standing Russia-India friendshipâ and shows âstrategic autonomy in international affairs.â
Officials also said it was natural for India to continue this partnership. âAnything else would be hard to imagine,â the ministry added.
Russia stressed that the relationship between the two countries remains steady and cannot be disturbed by external criticism.
