The Tamil Nadu BJP has set up five committees to spread awareness about the Central government’s schemes before the 2026 Assembly elections. These committees must also send monthly reports to the party leadership.The decision was made at a high-level meeting led by BJP National General Secretary B.L. Santosh.
The committees will be headed by State President Nainar Nagendran, former state presidents K. Annamalai and Tamilisai Soundararajan, MLA Vanathi Srinivasan, and senior leader H. Raja.
Nagendran will oversee the overall work. Annamalai will explain the state’s political situation to people. Tamilisai will connect with social leaders. Vanathi will focus on women’s empowerment and education for Dalit girls. Raja will handle social media work.
The meeting also reviewed the state’s political situation and discussed strengthening the NDA alliance with AIADMK. Leaders spoke about bringing in new allies after the exit of O. Panneerselvam and T.T.V. Dhinakaran.
