Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan will make his first official visit to Tamil Nadu on October 4 after assuming office earlier this month.
He will arrive in Chennai, where the state government and BJP leaders are set to accord him a grand welcome. A public reception has also been planned in the city, allowing citizens to greet and congratulate him.
On October 5, the Vice President will travel to Coimbatore. He is expected to visit his residence and interact with local leaders.
Radhakrishnan is likely to return to Delhi either late on October 5 or the following day.
