Nagpur, Oct 6: Vidarbha clinched their third Irani Cup title with a convincing 93-run win against the Rest of India at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. The hosts set a target of 361 runs, and despite a resilient 92-run innings from Yash Dhull, the Rest of India were bowled out for 267 on the final day.Left-arm spinner Harsh Dubey and pacer Yash Thakur were the standout performers, taking four wickets each and consistently troubling the opposition batsmen. Vidarbha’s young team, with an average age of 24, showed skill, aggression, and composure throughout the match. Atharva Taide contributed with a crucial 143-run innings and a key catch to dismiss Dhull.
