US President Donald Trump, instrumental in securing the ceasefire, is set to visit Israel, where he will meet with families of the hostages and address the Knesset.
Following his Israel visit, he will co-host a peace summit in Egypt with President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi, inviting regional and international leaders to discuss ongoing conflict resolution efforts.
The Hamas-run Interior Ministry in Gaza has increased police presence in areas vacated by the Israeli military, purportedly to provide security for aid deliveries and reassure the local populace.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has stated it is prepared to supply food aid for the entire population of Gaza for up to three months, but is uncertain of its logistical role in the current operation.
Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance expressed optimism about achieving lasting peace while confirming that no American troops will be stationed in Gaza, though about 200 personnel are monitoring the ceasefire and aid flow from the region.
