Hot on the heels of the announcement of Mellisai, actor Kishore has signed yet another intense role, this time leading a film intriguingly titled IPL (Indian Penal Law). The actor, known for powerful character-driven performances in films like Vada Chennai and Samithi Poovellai Seppu Ketka, is set to front this hard-hitting drama that appears to dive into the issue of custodial violence.The film marks the directorial debut of Karunanithi and features an ensemble cast that includes Abhirami, Harish Perady, and TTF Vasan in key roles. Bose Venkat and Dileepan are also part of the cast, adding further weight to the lineup.
IPL is being produced by GR Madhan Krishnan under the banner Radha Film International. The technical team includes composer Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy handling the music, cinematography by Pitchumani, editing by Prakash Mabbu, art direction by Vengal Ravi, and action choreography by Dinesh Subbarayan.
