Shooting wrapped for SK’s Parasakthi


Sivakarthikeyan’s much-anticipated period drama Parasakthi has officially completed filming and is scheduled for release on January 14, 2026, coinciding with the Pongal festival.
Directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Dawn Pictures, the film has generated significant excitement among fans and critics alike. The story is set in the 1960s Tamil Nadu and centers around the Anti-Hindi agitations, showcasing Sivakarthikeyan as a fearless student leader leading a rebellion against an unjust system.
The film also features a strong ensemble cast including Atharvaa, Sreeleela (in her Tamil debut), Ravi Mohan, and Rana Daggubati. Parasakthi boasts impressive technical contributions with music by G.V. Prakash Kumar and cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran.
The production involved multiple schedules shot across locations such as Madurai, Sri Lanka, and Pollachi.The recently released teaser hints at a gripping political narrative, with Sivakarthikeyan’s character confronting oppressive orders and engaging in fiery protests.
