Actress Simran has released the first look poster of the mystery thriller Red Label. Set against the backdrop of Coimbatore, the film revolves around a series of murders and mysterious incidents in a college campus. Directed by K.R. Vinoth and produced by Lenin under the banner Revgen Film Factory, the story is penned by Pon. Parthiban. The entire shoot took place in Coimbatore.Lenin and Asmin play the lead roles, while veteran filmmaker R.V. Udayakumar appears in a pivotal character and Munishkanth in a special role. The film features cinematography by Satheesh Meiyappan, music by Kailash Menon, and editing by Lawrence Kishore.
Interestingly, the title Red Label signifies revolution and identity rather than referring to tea or alcohol. In a rare gesture, actress Simran, who usually avoids public events, released the first look to encourage the young team and conveyed her best wishes.
