T J Srinivasaraj has been elected as the new President of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) for the 2025–2028 term. The election was held at the M A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Saturday.Along with Srinivasaraj, M Kumaresh was elected as Vice-President and R Rangarajan as Honorary Treasurer, both unopposed. In the contested posts, U Bhagwandas Rao was elected as Honorary Secretary, K Sriram as Honorary Joint Secretary, and C Mareeswaran as Honorary Assistant Secretary.
The TNCA said the elections were conducted in a fair and transparent manner. The newly elected office bearers and Apex Council members will hold office for three years.
The new team has listed its key priorities as improving cricket infrastructure across Tamil Nadu, nurturing young talent, and ensuring transparency in administration.
PB Vijayaraghavan & Co. has been appointed as statutory auditors for the year 2025–26. S Balakrishna and Yusuf Y Laila have been nominated to the governing council of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL).
The unopposed election of Srinivasaraj marks a smooth transition in TNCA leadership, with hopes of further strengthening cricket activities.
