4 terrorists killed by security forces in Baloch


Karachi, Nov 5:  Pakistan’s security forces killed four terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Kalat district, Balochistan, over the weekend, the army said. The operation targeted terrorists actively involved in multiple attacks, resulting in the recovery of weapons and ammunition. Security forces continued sanitisation efforts to eliminate any remaining threats in the area. The army reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to combating foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their actions, emphasizing national unity in support of the armed forces under Operation Azm-i-Istehkam. Sharif reiterated that Pakistan would persist in its fight against terrorism until its complete eradication, underscoring the government’s resolve to protect the country from extremist threats. The operation reflects ongoing efforts to maintain security in the restive province.
