Vijayalakshmi all praise for Middle Class

Actress Vijayalakshmi has opened up about playing the female lead opposite comedian Munishkanth in the upcoming film Middle Class, directed by Kishore Muthuramaligam. Produced by Dev and K. V. Durai, the film revolves around a self-centered middle-class man in Thanjavur and the everyday struggles he faces with his wife and children. Vijayalakshmi plays his wife in the story.When asked why she chose to act opposite Munishkanth, the actress said she valued the film’s story above star pairings. “I never choose films based on the character alone. If the story isn’t strong, the role has no meaning. This story was exactly what I was hoping for when the director narrated it, so I agreed immediately,” she said. Munishkanth, meanwhile, shared that he was surprised yet delighted by her decision. “When I heard Vijayalakshmi was cast as my pair, I couldn’t believe it at first. But the director told me she agreed after hearing the story, and she truly lived her role throughout the shoot,” he said.
