Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami has questioned the authority of current Chief Minister M.K. Stalin by asking, “Should Edappadi Palaniswami do everything? Why are you the Chief Minister?”
In a fiery address at a public event in Erode, Palaniswami criticized Stalin for allegedly neglecting farmers’ issues, failing to address water problems, and mismanaging development projects.
Palaniswami’s remarks, published on his social media channels, are seen as direct criticism of Stalin’s administration, accusing him of being neglectful and not delivering on promises made to farmers and the public.
He also highlighted his own efforts to bring development projects like metro rail expansions and water schemes to Tamil Nadu, contrasting his work with what he perceives as Stalin’s failures.
The fiery exchange reflects the intense political climate in Tamil Nadu, where both leaders vie for public support ahead of future elections.
