Nainar Nagendran, leader of the Tamil Nadu BJP, has stated that the “dirty hands” of Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will be tied before the law. He condemned the alleged corruption involving Sonia and Rahul, highlighting the ongoing National Herald case as a key example.
Nagendran asserted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, all corruption by Congress leaders is being held accountable. He referred to the FIR filed by the Enforcement Directorate accusing the Gandhis of misappropriating assets linked to the ‘National Herald’ newspaper and other financial irregularities.
He praised the recent remarks by Prime Minister Modi in Parliament, who lauded CP Radhakrishnan—hailing from a simple, farming background—as an example of dedication and humility. Nagendran emphasized that the BJP offers representation to people from all castes, languages, and economic backgrounds, contrasting this with Congress’s alleged corruption.
This statement comes amid renewed legal actions, where Sonia and Rahul Gandhi face charges including criminal conspiracy and cheating in relation to the controversial National Herald property deal.
The BJP seeks judicial intervention to ensure justice prevails against these longstanding allegations.
