The makers of Kombuseevi, starring Sarath Kumar and Shanmuga Pandian, have announced that the film’s release has been advanced from December 25 to December 19, 2025. Directed by Ponram, the action-drama features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and also stars Kaali Venkat, Kalki Raja and Tharnika.Set against events from the mid-1990s, the film follows two men who create country-made bombs to protect their village, blending action, humour and rural drama. With the teaser and the song Vasthara already gaining traction, the makers hope the earlier release date will give the film a clear run ahead of the crowded Christmas weekend.
