Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) leader GK Vasan asserted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) remains robust in Tamil Nadu under AIADMK’s leadership, predicting its victory in upcoming elections during a press meet after the party’s Kongu zone executives meeting in Erode.

He announced the merger of Kamraj People’s Party with TMC on December 20 at a grand event in Dindigul, expecting over 3,000 attendees including district and zonal leaders.

Vasan accused the DMK regime of vote-bank politics by distributing laptops to school students only after 4.5 years in power and releasing pending women’s property rights just before elections. He criticized the government’s indifference to government employees’ strike and claimed DMK treats courts as political arenas, particularly in cases like the no-confidence motion against GR Saminathan.

TMC’s NDA position strengthens its victory chances, with Vasan anticipating positive announcements and potential additions from ruling parties. He condemned the arrest of journalist Savukku Shankar and urged voters to stay vigilant against DMK’s alleged tactics to mislead amid defeat fears.
