Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Thursday publicly acknowledged the pivotal role his wife has played in his life and career, stating that his success would not have been possible without her support.
Speaking at a wedding event in Kolathur, Chennai, Stalin emphasized the importance of women in a man’s life, saying, “Behind every successful man there is a woman.” He credited his wife’s encouragement and patience during challenging periods as key to his personal and political journey.
Recalling the time he spent in prison for a year, Stalin said his wife stood by him with patience and resilience, without which he would not be where he is today.
He urged society to recognize and support the advancement of women, adding that the progress of women strengthens the entire family and, by extension, the community at large.
