The much-anticipated Tamil film Mookuthi Amman 2, starring Nayanthara, has officially wrapped up its shooting, the makers announced on Tuesday. A behind-the-scenes video released by the production team shows cast and crew celebrating the completion of the six-month shoot.Directed by Sundar C, the sequel features a large ensemble cast including Regina Cassandra, Urvashi, Suneel, Yogi Babu, Abhinaya, Ineya, Garuda Raam, Singampuli, Vichu Vishwanath, Ajay Ghosh and Myna Nandhini, with Sneha making a special appearance.
Produced by Vels Film International in collaboration with Avni Cinemax, Rowdy Pictures and Ivy Entertainment, the film now moves into post-production. Mookuthi Amman 2 is expected to be released in summer 2026, promising a fresh installment in the popular devotional-fantasy franchise.
