
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan is scheduled to visit Chennai tomorrow.
Extensive arrangements are being made in the city for his arrival and public programmes.
During the visit, the Vice President will take part in the convocation ceremony at M.G.R. Medical University, where he will award degrees and address graduating students.
Later in the evening, a felicitation ceremony will be held for him at Kalaivanar Arangam. The event is expected to witness the participation of several dignitaries including Union Minister L. Murugan, music maestro Ilaiyaraaja, retired judges, vice-chancellors and senior educational administrators.
The programme is being organised by the M.G.R. Foundation, with former minister Hande set to preside and A.C. Shanmugam playing a key role in the arrangements.
Notable personalities from various fields are expected to greet the Vice President and deliver congratulatory messages.
