A ministerial delegation of the Tamil Nadu government held fresh discussions with executives of the Joint Action Council of Tamil Nadu Teachers’ Organisations and Government Employees’ Organisations (JACTO‑GEO) and the allied POTO‑GEO groups on Friday at the State Secretariat in Chennai amid growing tensions over a proposed indefinite strike from 6 January.
