Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Thursday took to social media platform X to release a video message urging people of the state to unite and “win together” as elections approach. In his message, he emphasised protecting Tamil Nadu’s land, language and honour, and called on citizens to come together irrespective of challenges posed by political adversaries. In the post, Stalin said: “Tamils, let’s win together! On the path of development, let’s win together! No matter how many forces come against us, we will protect the soil, language and dignity of Tamil Nadu and win as one!” — reinforcing his appeal for collective effort toward the state’s progress and identity.
The message comes at a time of heightened political activity in Tamil Nadu, with parties gearing up for the 2026 Assembly elections. Stalin’s call for unity underscores his campaign narrative of safeguarding regional pride while pushing for development.
Political observers say the tweet is aimed at rallying support among voters and energising party workers ahead of an intense election season, as alliances and rival campaigns gain momentum across the state.
