The makers of Maragadha Naanayam 2 have unveiled a major update for the eagerly anticipated sequel to the 2017 hit. Alongside returning lead Aadhi Pinisetty and Nikki Galrani, veteran actor Sathyaraj and popular actress Priya Bhavani Shankar have been added to the film’s cast. Directed by ARK Saravanan, who also helmed the original, the film will see several actors from the first installment — including Munishkanth, Anandaraj, Danie, Arunraja Kamaraj, and Muruganandam — reprising their roles.
The technical team features Dhibu Ninan Thomas as music composer, PV Shankar handling cinematography, and Thirumalai Rajan R in charge of editing. While the makers have released a promo to mark Pongal, further details on the plot and genre are yet to be revealed.
The project is backed by a group of production houses including Passion Studios and Axess Film Factory, with producers Sudhan Sundaram, Dev, KV Durai, Manish Singhal, and Durgaram Choudhary leading the venture.
