The re-release of ‘Theri’ has been scheduled for January 23, setting up a box-office clash with the re-release of ‘Mankatha’ on the same date.Theri featured Vijay, Samantha in lead roles. The star cast included Amy Jackson, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Nainika, Mahendran, Prabhu, Mottai Rajendran and many others, in key roles. GV Prakash Kumar composed the songs, which are still in the audience’s playlists.
Meanwhile, Mankatha, a Venkat Prabhu directorial, is a heist thriller and is considered to be one of the best works of Ajith.
