AMMK general secretary T T V Dhinakaran today said that all leaders and cadres of his party and the AIADMK are followers of former Chief Minister M G Ramachandran and late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, and have come together keeping the welfare of Tamil Nadu in mind.

Addressing the mega NDA rally in Madurantakam, Dhinakaran said past differences between the two parties had been buried in the larger interest of the State. “We have set aside all our issues and joined hands for good governance in Tamil Nadu,” he said.

Targeting the ruling DMK, the AMMK leader said the alliance was aimed at putting an end to what he described as dynastic politics. “We have joined hands to root out DMK’s family rule and restore people-centric governance,” he asserted.

Dhinakaran said the NDA alliance stood for stability, development and clean administration, inspired by the ideals of MGR and Jayalalithaa. He appealed to voters to reject dynastic politics and support the NDA in the coming elections.
